arduino analog sensor Customers Reviews

  • Handy gadget for the experimenter

    posted by HenryJ

Inexpensive.Handy for the experimenter as it plugs into a breadboard easily (not that a three pin device isn't easy to plug into a breadboard but having the device mounted to the pcb helps protect it and make it less vulnerable to handling damage.
    Good for any arduino experimenter.
A good price for an experimenters gadget.
  • Very easy to work with!

Very easy to understand its working. Moreover, every axis has its analog entrie, so you can process each one separately. The accelerometer works very well, with a sensitivity of 300mV/g (no more than 20mV/g error).I have tested this accelerometer with several Arduino boards: Arduino UNO, Arduino DUE, Arduino MEGA, Arduino MINI and pcDuino. It works excellent on all of them. Also, I have tested it in STM boards, like STM32 Discovery and ST Nucleo.
About the above, all microcontrollers come with more than one ADC, so there is no problem of connecting this accelerometer to your PCB... unless you have them all occupied.
Summarizing, this is the typical accelerometer with 3 axis and, each of them, with its own analog signal. This is the easiest way of using an accelerometer and the better choice for an Arduino fan!
