  • High Gain telescopic Antenna

Easy to carry in pockets, and can be extended when ever required. Good quality plastis used. The telescopic action is also smooth to operate.
a good antenna for receiving weaker signals. Good for transmission in local area communication such as Buildings.
Great pricing for this product so no complaining. Not recommended for prolonged transmission and professional/commercial use

Is a quality antenna. Works better than the stock Wouxon etc... Very sturdy. Less than 1/3 the price of anyone else. Even at hamfests! My friends and I use and enjoy them.
If you need an SMA female HT antenna then this is a no-brainer. Be sure and look at the photos in the ad to make sure this is the connector type you require.
Even the 2 week wait to receive the antennas to the US was well worth it. Order several for back-ups and for friends and just about when you forgot about them you will get them and be pleasantly surprised.
  • Good antenna

The antenna operates in the stated ranges. When the antenna is deployed, the VSWR at the frequency of 144 MHz in the range 1.8 - 2.2, at a frequency of 430 MHz - 2.5-2.8 (measured at the professional equipment). Details of the antenna are made qualitatively, nothing stuck and not loose. The connector is perfectly fit with the radio (Master UV-200).
    No Other Thoughts
Buy it, use it, but carefully.
  • Not exactly a improvement over the stock dualband

    - low price- some reception improvement over the stock dualband at 2 meters
Well, though it has some glue residue on the middle base, it seems nicely made, especially the BNC connector. I didn't actually test the transcieving.
Well, if you already have a dualband antenna that you use for wideband RX or RTX on 430 and 144 MHz bands then don't bother buying, because there is just slight improvement. If you don't have it, then it's a good deal. Also will do good for a scanner antenna.
  • Clear sound even from the first floor of the apartment

Extremely useful antenna for vhf/uhf i was able to tune signals ranging 25km with ease, no noise, clear sound, very solid built antenna. You have to adjust the antenna to the bands, if you open it to the tallest position at all times, you wont get same performance on all vhf/uhf frequencies.

Cheap (Dx sells it cheapest), strongly built, improves the stock antenna performace like 8-10x. Buy this if you want a great antenna.
