  • A good converter with good parameters.

The device is good at laptop powerful loading (> 50 watts). Heating is negligible. Efficiency as declared. The minimum input voltage was lower. Device to run with 9,6 V, but with low efficiency.
Solid capacitors, probably would have been better, and slightly increased the cost of the device.
The unit deals with the task. With proper cooling, can work on the stated power (150 watts). I would recommend using it on a constant load up to 100 watts.
  • Good quality S/W PSU

It is small and of good built quality. I tested it at 5V/2.1A and the voltage stabilization is very good, 0.5% as stated.
I removed the fixed resistors that define the output voltage and installed a trimmer of 50K and a resistor of 1K8 in the place of the 15K that was on the board. The board had 47K and a 15K that define a 5v fixed output. With the 50K variable an a 1K8 fixed I have variable PSU now.
I would buy some more for my projects. The price is good compared to the quality you get.
  • Variable voltageboost from 12v to 35v.

    - Size, a very small package- Mount feets- Easy to equip - Very easy to use- Looks as good quality work- Very cheep
I bought this to be able to variable boost voltage going to 12 non-pwm computer fans and to test if it can provide enough power to supply some smaller peltier elements. So far I have tested the voltage going smoothly from 12v to 35v, and a 3000 rpm scythe 120x38mm fan. My god a fan like that can eject some air when voltage goes up.
Better than I expected. Looks a lot bigger on the picture on DX.com than it really is. I am very satisfied.
  • Very good regulator

Simple and robust, very usefull. You can change trimpot by fixed resistor, there are pads to do it, and it turns into a fixed voltage regulator. Overcurrent protection. Voltage adjustment is very precise.
Small and simple, easy to fix, possible use in many experiments and prototypes. I saw some other regulators based in LM2596 more cheap, but using bobin wih low inductance, let to experience in future.
If you need a regulator for experiments or low production electronics, use it.
