  • Powering up your electronics

Ordinary battery holder for holding 2xAAA bateries with on-off switch. Great for DIY purposes and for powering up microelectronic circuits. On/off switch is great since you don't need to take batteries out or solder/desolder anything.
Small dimensions makes it easy to hide it inside the any box.
Price is a little outside of the range I intended for battery holder, but it was worth it since I eliminated on/off switch from the board and am using this one for powering off external circuit.

Fair price for 3 pieces of different colour. They can be fixed together. It's not useful for me, but somebody could use that (I can imagine if you have 3 of them in backpack, you can clip them together side by side and they will not crash to each other as you go... and so).Very simply, just put there 4AA or 4AAA and 1AA, and you're ready to go.Different colours are great, you can sort batteries by them (charged, uncharged...)
Great, if you're using this type batteries (photographer, outdoor, camping,...) and you'll need store rechargables or carry them around, this is very useful.
If you feel you need them, buy. I have third set (two other and this one), Im satisfied, great for storing and carrying my rechargable batteries and spare emergency alcaline batteries.
  • Great low-cost battery case

Great low-cost battery case. This offers a lot more flexibility than a standard plastic battery holder. The case is sturdy. It has a tight-locking cover. the power leads seem solidly attached. I love the on-off switch.
Warning: There are no mounting holes on the case. The switch is on the backside, so it will become inaccessible if permanently mounted.
Best for ad-hock, works-in-progress. Also very useful for projects that are not designed to be installed inside a project box. You certainly can use this inside a project box (the cover is very nice) but you might want to opt for a standard battery. housing instead.
  • Good spare part

The product is very cheap. It is also very light weight. Makes a flashlight ruined by battery acid as good as new!!
I bought as I had flashlights that had been damaged by battery acid. I have a few flashlights laying around and it is hard to keep track of the battery status in all of them. I now use rechargable batteries so the damage risk is minimized.
Do not throw away your 3 AAA battery flashligt just because the battery holder is damaged by acid buy this product instead!

They are an excact fit 4 the 3 AAA torch. My wife had a battery leak, the body of the flashlight was ok with lite cleaning, but the battery box had to be replaced. This box fit the bil.
Hey if you want to save a light or you break a battery box this is just the trick! They can used for most any 3 AAA project.
Worth the $$ simple repair.Handy to keep around should you break one and need a replacement.
