58mm digital camera lens Customers Reviews

  • Great item, even if you haven't lost yours

    -Centre-pinch cap
    -Works perfectly
    -Fits properly
    -Great as a replacement
-For using with a lens hood.
-Can put a retaining strap on so you don't lose it.
These types of caps are meant to be used when you have a lens hood on - with a centre-pinch cap, you don't have to remove the lens. Not all lenses come with these types of caps.
Great item, cheap. If you don't need branding it's worth it. Buy a couple if you lose them.
  • Good - I think.

Bargain. Much more cheap than original made equipment.Easy to remove and easy to put on. Sits tight atop the lens.Has a strong thread that prevents you from loosing cover - if attached.
Very useful when hood is on the lens!Thread could be replaced with fishing string. Doesn't look nice, but makes easy to catch cover.
Absolutely must have. Recommended for people having hoods on their lenses. Much more comfortable than original cap.
  • Nice, although wide-angle is a bit disappointing

    Sturdy, glass-in-alu lens kit.
Macro function really gets you close up, although the field depth is about zero so take your time getting the distance between lens and object right.
If you are buying this lens for the wide angle bit: I'd say leave it be. At least on my Canon Powershot A720 it doesn't add that much.
If on the other hand you also intend to do macro photography, but then cheap: This is your lens! Although the macro lens does show some distortion, I got pictures of fractions of a cm, dead sharp, by zooming in a bit. Yes, it kills your field depth, but YES it magnifies BIG TIME.
Buy it, unless you are a professional photographer and in demand for top-of-the-line lenses.

Fits very well on my nikkor 55- 300 mm VR and is good but don't expect wonders. First You have to really get used to this telelens everythings comes comes very close
Blurred edges You got can You use for tricks,
Ideal for nature photografie with a tripod, on 400 mm You have to cut out the edges
