52mm lens filter Customers Reviews

  • Works as it should

works as it should. simple, does not put too much pressure on the camera mount or on the lens, even if you use filters. does its job.
simplest and cheapest way to do macro. not only allows you to do macro with your normal lens, means you won't have to carry an extra macro lens with you. cool.
cheap, simple, works perfect. recommended. i use it on both my 35mm 1.8 and my old manual focus 50mm 1.8. works great on both, but specially on the old 50mm 1.8 as manual focus ring works best and it has an aperture dial.
  • Decent value

Solid construction, wide angle + macro in one, and does do its job of widening the view. The attachment is also nice and small, metal, and comes in a nice sack. It does not feel cheap.
Despite the drawbacks, this is about what I expected from this lens at this price, so I will say that it has decent value, and you'll be able to take wider shots with it. To achieve sharpness at the corners requires many different lenses which would be very expensive. The blurring at the edges may even help draw out the middle.
For an attachment lens, it's pretty decent, but don't expect it to achieve very sharp images in the widened areas.
  • The Real Soft Focus Effect

    posted by gkojadinovic

The filter creates interesting dreamy effect - the real one, not just cheap post-production effect. No need to smear jelly (grease) or strech nylon stockings over lens anymore! Easy installation and use.
The filter blurs the highlights in the scene while retaining sharp edges and successfully eliminates skin blemishes and flaws. REMEMBER: just the effect itself will not make a great photo.
Common in glamour and wedding photography because it recalls the photos shot with old lenses.
  • Fun to play with...

Fun lense to play with...you can achieve some very unusual effects.
Makes for some interesting evening shots
If used in daytime, has tendency to soften the picture and give a dreamy feel.
Fits fine on 52mm Nikon Lense
    Build quality okay
It's a great little addition to my camera bag. Creates some very interesting displays of light or can be used to soften a picture. Not super useful but nice to have around.

This is a great filter lenses, great for indoor and outdoor photos. It has a very nice the vinhete. Fish-eye and Telephoto works perfectly. The Telephoto 2x is worth but I didn't use it too much yet. I went to the park during the day/night and it capture a large angle.
Really satisfied and happy with filters.I'm not a professional photographer so It fits my needs, awesome.
