  • Easy to use device for separate your micropocessor from the rest on circuit

    It's easy to use, when you know, where should be connected what. It comes without scheme, but connection is easy:VCC + GND = +12V DC and GNDIN1 .. IN4 = your 5V outputs from microcontrollerCOM = your GND from microcontrollerGND = the same as 12 V GNDNote: there is a jumper for connecting COM (=microcontroller GND) and GND (=12V source GND), to have the same potential. But this is not needed, when disconnected, the circuit of microcontroller and other 12V circuit are isolated (unless there is any other connection)...Other pros: red LEDs showing state of relais (on/off), one LED is ON when 12V DC supply is present.
    It solid and good contruction, also soldering is nice and proper. The faulty relay can be easily replaced.
    Worthy to buy.Cheaper than buy the parts anf build by yourself.

    This is a very good shield for arduino. Very plug and play. So no soldering is needed. Very usefull for controlling electronic stuff and lights at home.
    I will use it to make a manageable power strip. This way I can control stuff over the network with ethernet shield or usb

    Product of a good quality. Its price is affordable. The size of this product is small enough so that it can be placed for example in small robots. It can drive motors or other high loads thanks to the 10A relays. There is full acces to both terminals of each relay: to one that is « normally open » and to the second that is « normally closed ». This feature is not common in other boards having only normally open terminal.This board has optocouplers ensuring a good isolation between the high voltage circuit and the low voltage system circuit. This ensures safety of the projects based for example on Arduino boards and Raspberry-Pi in which I am currently using it. This is a good idea of placing LEDs indicating current status of relays. The system bus power can be separated from the relay bus power simply using a jumper.
    I would like to have the 8-relay option and another version with 12V relays.
    Probably I will order more of this board.

    Standard 4-channel relay board. Has transistors for the relay coils, and flyback diode protection. Relays close on HIGH signal, just as you would expect.
    Board draws 3mA with no relays closed. Each relay coil draws about 80mA when activated. Red "power" indicator, green relay indicators.
    Not sure what more I can say about it? It's a standard 4-channel relay board.

    This relay has an easy and understandable layout. It activates the relays on "high trigger", which I find useful for my applications.
    I wish I had bought the 8 Channel version instead of the 4 Channel. I'm using this one for 1 month, and I already have a destination for each of the 4 relays.I like this module, really works as designed.
    This is value for money. If you want relay functionality for your Arduino, then this is the relay-module you need.
