  • Great flashlight for the price!

Design - it's nice. It's made out of metal - sturdy.Has a strap with ring.Runs from regular AA batteries.Decent amount of light for the price.
The main thing that is good in this flashlight is it's design - made out of metal. I thought it will be some king of cheap plastic metal, but it is quite nice. It runs on AA batteries, witch is nice, because you don't want to spend a lot of money on batteries when you are buying flashlight for this price. Lenses are crap, diode has a feeling that it's going to end at any time. Overall - at this price - it's great.

Really impressed with the build and precision.Love the zoom feature, smooth and preciseSolid metal construction.DUAL battery (AA/14500) is a great option.very bright!
great gift for a camper / hikergood stocking stuffer for kidsmulti modes is useful. It is so bright, I wish it had a "very low" setting when you only need a little light.
would buy more when I need another small LED Flashlight.
  • A good and useful light

Quite sturdy, the angle hold well. The magnetic back is a nice plus, as I use it as work to help seeing in server bays. Bright, but less than a Fenix Ld10. Integrated Clip and hanger as weel. Phosphorescent works well over time.
Over time it shows a nice quality, got it since 2 months, I use it every working day, and it didn't failed on me, I use eneloop battery, and got a descent lifespan from it.
A really good light for the price when compared to similar lights (Fenix MC-11/10) as it is 5 times less expensive and do the job very well.
  • Sweet deal here!

Just got my (2) new lights today. Pulled one apart and installed a Q5, MAN what a difference! Great cheap little light that will shock you with it's brightness. The original LED was kinda greenish so if you are bored and have some thermal epoxy sitting around, buy a Q5 along with one of these and reflow it onto the board using your stove burner. Piece of cake and a cheap upgrade for this light.
Get a whole lot of them so you can experiment on them!
  • Nice light but...

Good build quality...seems expensive and fits well in the hand. Clicky was responsive but much nicer after upgrading the rubber boot and making slight adjustments. Anodizing is smooth with no visible blemishes.Glass lens and aluminum OP reflector.
It seems build quality and components vary greatly.
This light is much more useable in the 2xAA format since it is much brighter.
If you like the size of this light in a 1xAA format...by all means, purchase the single mode aluminum C3 or the single mode Stainless Steel C3. I have no experience with the Stainless Steel 5-mode Q5 C3 so can't comment.
