  • Build quality is excellent

    - Build quality is excellent for such a small adapter.
    - Very useful and work exactly as advertised.
    - Be gentle with this small adapter.
I ordered this "CF to Toshiba 1.8-inch IDE Hard Drive Converter" to replace the hard disk of my "Rockboxed" iRiver HP-120 with a Compact Flash card. It works like a champ, no more moving parts in my iRiver!!!
  • Works great

    - Works great with a Samsung ZIF SSD drive in a Dell Latitude X1 laptop.
    - Small enough to pack into the space freed up in the target laptop because of the Samsung SSD being smaller than the Toshiba hard drive it replaces.
    - Very cheap and ok quality.
Not the fault of this device, but the Samsung SSD works in UDMA66 and so reverts to PIO mode when used in the Dell X1, since it only supports UDMA33 & UDMA100
If you need to put a zif SSD in an old laptop this is the best solution.
  • No S-ata power cables

Cheaper than at any retailerFunctions just as goodMakes any harddisk externalDoes the same for any DVD/CD/BR drive.Supports S-ata as well as good old IDE for 2.5" and 3.5" harddisks
None. Device does what it has to do.
Good buy for the money. Too bad the S-ata power cables arent attached.
  • Works with Toshiba Portege 2010

I am using this in conjunction with a Compact
Flash (CF) memory card (SKU 44606) to
replace the faulty hard drive in my Toshiba
Portege 2010 and it works very well.
I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 on the CF card and system boots without any issues. A good product for a very good price. I only wish the CF cards were a bit cheaper!
A great way to replace an expensive hard drive.
    Good value for money.
  • Turns your mSata to SATA

    posted by HolyEggplant

    - Allows connecting an mSATA drive using a regular SATA connector- Unlike other similar product, this is an actual case that will both protect your drive and also allow comfortable mounting- Small prongs hold the mSATA drive in place when placed inside the case
Worked great for me with my Intel SSD 525 Series mSATA drive.Definitely suitable for mSATA drives that fit into a mini PCIe connector.
If you need one of these, this one will certainly do the trick.
