Android tablets are becoming more and more popular and are expected to outsell laptops soon. However, there are a number of disadvantages to them. A keyboard is lacking, for example. But an Android laptop has the best of both worlds. If you just need basic word processing software and you want to access your e-mail online, or if you don't have a lot of specialized software to run, then an Android laptop may be all you need. Since the operating system is open source, an Android laptop will cost you a lot less than one running Windows or Macintosh OS.
